How to solve a duel puzzle
Most puzzles have exactly one line that works. Here's how to find it.
- Count the damage before you attack. Then count it again. Off by 100 is still a loss.
- Face-down cards are the puzzle. Ask what each one could be, and what it would ruin.
- Read both Graveyards. Cards in the GY are rarely there for decoration.
- Order matters. The same five moves in a different order is usually a loss.
- Every card has a job. If one seems useless, you haven't found its job yet.
Daily Yugi FAQ
What is Daily Yugi?
A free daily Yu-Gi-Oh! duel puzzle. Everyone gets the same board each day; win it in a single turn.
Can I retry or replay?
Yes, as often as you like, win or lose. Your first win is what counts: stats and your shared result show how many tries it took.
What if I reload or close the tab?
Nothing is lost and nothing resets. Your moves are saved as you make them, and the duel picks up exactly where you left it.
When does the next puzzle unlock?
At midnight, your local time. If you're mid-duel at midnight, finish it: it still counts for the day you started.
Can I practise?
Not on today's puzzle; that would give the answer away. An archive of past puzzles is planned.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
Free, no account, no ads, no tracking. Your progress stays in your browser.
Where do the rules and puzzles come from?
The Project Ignis community: their open-source EDOPro rules engine, card scripts and puzzle collection.
Is this an official Yu-Gi-Oh! game?
No. It's a fan project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Konami.
